The Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix is one of the most unique events on the F1 calendar. Drivers race on the spectacular Marina Bay Street Circuit, which runs through the heart of one of the world’s most extraordinary cities.
Since the 2023 season, the circuit has featured a revised layout. Its length was reduced from approximately 5.065 km to 4.928 km, while the number of corners was reduced from 23 to 19. The changes were introduced due to construction work in the area of the former Turns 16–19, where a longer straight was created.
On the current circuit layout, the official race lap record is 1:33.808, set by Lewis Hamilton in 2025.
But this is about much more than just racing. The Marina Bay Street Circuit is located in the heart of Singapore, surrounded by impressive skyscrapers, luxury hotels, shopping centres, parks and modern office buildings. Singapore is one of Asia’s most important business hubs and one of the largest ports in the world.
The combination of a night race, spectacular city scenery and an unforgettable atmosphere makes the Singapore Grand Prix an event every Formula 1 fan should experience.
