Coldplay are a British band who have gone from alternative rock to becoming one of the biggest stadium bands in the world. The group consists of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. The band’s first rehearsals took place in London in the late 1990s. Their breakthrough came with the debut album Parachutes in 2000. It featured “Yellow”, as well as “Shiver” and “Trouble”. Two years later, A Rush of Blood to the Head followed, featuring songs such as “The Scientist”, “Clocks” and “In My Place”. Over the years, Coldplay have continued to change their sound, drawing on rock, pop, electronic music and more elaborate arrangements. Albums such as X&Y, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, Mylo Xyloto, Ghost Stories and A Head Full of Dreams showed that the band did not want to be limited to a single style. They later released Everyday Life, Music of the Spheres and Moon Music. Some of Coldplay’s biggest hits include “Fix You”, “Viva la Vida”, “Paradise”, “A Sky Full of Stars”, “Adventure of a Lifetime” and “My Universe”, recorded with BTS. Coldplay live Concerts have become one of the most important parts of the band’s career. Coldplay are known for huge stadium shows, colourful LED wristbands, lights, confetti and singing together with the audience. Songs such as “Yellow”, “Fix You” and “Viva la Vida” take on a completely different energy when performed live.
