Singapore Grand Prix 2026 combines F1 with huge concerts. Lana Del Rey, The Killers and the first Sprint

Singapore Grand Prix 2026 will combine night racing with a major live music programme. From October 9 to 11, fans will see the first Sprint in the history of the Singapore round, while Lana Del Rey, The Killers, Janet Jackson, Zara Larsson, DJ Snake and more take over the stages.
The Singapore Grand Prix has long been more than just a race weekend, but the 2026 edition takes the combination of sport and live entertainment even further. From October 9 to 11, Formula 1 returns to the Marina Bay street circuit for another night race, this time with the first Sprint in the history of the Singapore round. Once the racing action ends, stages across the venue will host artists including Lana Del Rey, The Killers, Janet Jackson, Zara Larsson, DJ Snake and Mark Ronson.
Singapore Grand Prix 2026. When is the race?
The 2026 Singapore Grand Prix weekend is scheduled for Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 11. Drivers will once again race under the lights at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, where speeds can reach around 325 km/h.
The biggest change compared with previous editions is the introduction of the Sprint format. Friday will feature just one practice session before Sprint qualifying in the evening.
The key Formula 1 sessions are scheduled as follows:
- Friday, October 9, 4:30–5:30 p.m. – Free Practice 1
- Friday, October 9, 8:30–9:14 p.m. – Sprint Qualifying
- Saturday, October 10, 5:00–5:30 p.m. – F1 Sprint
- Saturday, October 10, 9:00–10:00 p.m. – Grand Prix Qualifying
- Sunday, October 11, 8:00–10:00 p.m. – Main Race
For fans, this means that almost every day of the weekend will include a session with something significant at stake.
Lana Del Rey and Janet Jackson will close out the weekend
The biggest music names are scheduled for Sunday. The Padang and Wharf stages will host Lana Del Rey, Janet Jackson and James Arthur.
That makes the final day of the event a combination of two very different attractions: an evening Formula 1 race and concerts by internationally known artists.
The Sunday DJ programme will also feature Mark Ronson, ZHU and Monochrome.
The Killers, Zara Larsson and Goo Goo Dolls on Saturday
Saturday is also packed with major names. Alongside the first Singapore Sprint and evening qualifying for the Grand Prix, fans will see The Killers, Goo Goo Dolls and Zara Larsson.
The DJ programme includes Rev Run, Flight Facilities in a DJ set, HYO and Ape Drums.
Saturday could therefore become one of the most intense days of the entire weekend, with a Sprint, qualifying and several major concerts all taking place within a single day.
DJ Snake kicks off the music weekend
On Friday, one of the main artists will be JJ Lin, joined on the headline stages by Split Enz and Cortis.
The electronic stages will feature DJ Snake, Major Lazer Soundsystem, TOKiMONSTA and Shingo Nakamura.
Fans will also have a chance to attend a drivers’ forum on Friday. The session is scheduled for the Wharf Stage in Zone 1 from 2:30 to 3:10 p.m. A second drivers’ forum is planned for Saturday from 3:10 to 3:40 p.m. Access requires a valid ticket for Zone 1 or Zone 2.
On Sunday, the traditional drivers’ parade is scheduled for 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.
The line-up goes far beyond the biggest headliners
The Singapore Grand Prix entertainment programme is much broader than just a few headline acts.
The organisers have also confirmed performances from artists including Milky Chance, Portugal. The Man, Peking Duk, Tia Ray, Ezra Collective, Ocean Alley, PREP, Spacey Jane and The Rubens.
There will also be roaming performances and installations around the venue. As a result, the event feels closer to a multi-day festival than a traditional race weekend where concerts are simply an extra attraction.
Singapore Grand Prix 2026 tickets. Many categories are already sold out
Demand is also visible in current ticket availability. A number of three-day passes, grandstand options and premium packages are already marked as sold out.
However, the organiser says that a small number of additional tickets will be released in the coming days. A limited number of tickets is also expected to be released daily at selected gates during the race weekend.
Some walkabout options remain available as well. Zone 4 tickets for selected days have been listed as limited or selling fast.
One ticket gives access to racing and concerts
One of the biggest differences between the Singapore Grand Prix and many other races is the scale of the additional entertainment.
A ticket for a given day provides access not only to the Formula 1 programme but also to the concerts available within the zones covered by that ticket.
That means the choice of day may depend just as much on the music programme as on the sporting schedule.
Friday brings Sprint Qualifying and DJ Snake. Saturday combines the Sprint, Grand Prix qualifying, The Killers and Zara Larsson. Sunday offers the main race together with performances by Lana Del Rey, Janet Jackson and James Arthur.
The night race turns central Singapore into a huge event
Marina Bay has long stood out among street circuits. Formula 1 cars race under artificial lights between barriers set up in the heart of the city, while extensive concert and entertainment infrastructure operates around the track.
In 2026, the Sprint format will make the schedule even more intense. Instead of a quieter Friday focused mainly on practice, competitive sessions begin already on Friday evening, while Saturday includes both a separate Sprint race and Grand Prix qualifying.
The combination of a night Formula 1 race with a line-up featuring Lana Del Rey, The Killers, Janet Jackson, Zara Larsson and DJ Snake makes the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix one of those sporting weekends capable of attracting people who are interested in much more than motorsport alone.
